Our Mission
The mission of WishBone Foundation is to fulfill life-enriching wishes for Senior pets with at-risk conditions to thrive. We advocate for Senior dogs and cats in Illinois’ Will County whose families sometimes feel they have no choice but to make the heart wrenching decision to surrender their senior dog or cat because they cannot afford the medical costs and comfort essentials senior pets need to live quality lives. Our hope is to keep Senior pets and families together forever.

Our vision is to shine a light on the vital importance of the lifetime commitment and care of senior pets, promote an understanding of the joys and challenges of caring for them and help bring about a positive change in the way society thinks and treats our senior dogs and cats, ultimately creating better lives they deserve through education, rescue, foster and hospice.
